Organization and Position Summary

For the past 36 years, Family Pathways, a non profit organization, has developed and offered programs to communities in East Central Minnesota.  In 2009, our services were expanded to Polk County, Wisconsin.    Our nine Food shelves, four Teen Centers, Youth Services and Senior Services are offered to individuals at no charge.  The primary purpose of our Thrift Stores (currently nine and growing) is to provide funding for these programs.  Family Pathways mission is:  To work with communities to develop supportive, caring relationships to help people meet their basic needs.

 

Major Responsibilities:

Making clients feel welcome during their time of need

Serve clients

Client advocacy, referrals and resources

Assist with the day to day operations of the food shelf

Assist with food ordering and deliveries

Recruit and supervise volunteers

Donation Pick Ups when needed

 

Qualifications:

Ability to lift 40 pounds

Public speaking

Communicate clearly and effectively

Supervision background

Knowledge of computer and Microsoft Office and Excel

Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates

 

Compensation:

$11.50 per hour

Part time hours – 29 weekly with the possibility of this  turning into full time

401K plan
