Transforming donated goods into:
- Opportunity
- Investment
- Good environmental stewardship
When you donate your new and gently-used items to Family Pathways Thrift Stores, we turn them into sustainable funding that supports Family Pathways’ essential services that strengthen our communities through equitable access to healthy foods, safety, housing, economic security and social connectedness.
Family Pathways Thrift Stores relies on generous donations from the local community to collect used clothing and household items.
Each year, more 3 million pounds of product is sold or recycled, providing even more funding for essential services and reduce the amount of waste to our environment.
Donation pick-up through ReSupply is available in most areas
Family Pathways partners with ReSupply, a Veteran-founded organization, to provide an at-home pickup service of donations.
ReSupply accepts all donations for a nominal fee that reflects the operating costs and is often much less than a moving company or junk hauler fee. ReSupply’s network of drivers will pick up the donation at your home and deliver it to your community Family Pathways Donation Center. If we’re unable to accept the donation, ReSupply will provide the items to another nonprofit or dispose of the items ethically.
To get an estimate and schedule a pick up call Family Pathways (651) 674-8040, ext. 8 or call ReSupply directly at (201) 484-5809. You can also schedule online.
In order to minimize our donation processing costs to allow more funding for our community programs, we do ask that:
- All non-clothing donations should be packed in a box or tote with a lid. All clothing donations should be packed in a sturdy bag or box that can be closed.
- Each bag, box or individual item may not exceed 40 lbs.
- Donation containers cannot be returned.
- Please call ahead for large donations, such as furniture or trailer-loads that require more than one person to unload.
